Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING

Shipments are made with DHL courier and delivery usually takes place within 24-48H of taking charge by the courier (remote areas or islands require up to 72H). Orders placed on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday or on the next working day. Delivery times for countries abroad are approximately 4-5 working days.

Deliveries to the recipient take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00, excluding holidays.

The customer will be able to trace his order at any time, using the shipment number that he will receive by email from DHL at the time of collection (also check in spam).

Delivery times may be extended during holidays. Extraordinary events and causes of force majeure not attributable to Mottafashionplace, could delay the delivery. In exceptional cases, delivery could take place on a Saturday or Sunday. In any case, delivery will be made within a maximum of 30 working days from confirmation of payment. We apologize for any delays.

The shipment is delivered to the address indicated by the Customer. If the delivery address is a location other than a private home (office, commercial activity, bar, company...) the customer is required to report it, adding the wording c/o... next to the name, to avoid stocks for unknown contact details.

The Customer is responsible for the address provided to Mottafashionplace for shipping, which cannot be changed following the conclusion of the purchase contract. The indication of the wrong address, even only of the street number, or incomplete (missing street number) causes storage of the package and delivery delays.

The Customer is required to ensure that someone is present at the address indicated at the time of delivery. To avoid empty passages by the courier or inventories, we recommend providing an alternative shipping address to your home (workplace, commercial activity nearby ..)

The customer who places an order undertakes to accept delivery of his package: if for any reason the customer refuses delivery of the shipment, the costs associated with the shipment and the return of the same will be withheld from the refund. In case of cancellation of an order by the Customer before shipment, the commission costs relating to the payment methods (Paypal, Credit Card) will be withheld from the refund.

For security reasons, Mottafashionplace cannot process shipments addressed to post office boxes.


All orders placed on Mottafashionplace will be accompanied on delivery by a document (order confirmation) which declares the value of the individual items in Euros, as per the laws that regulate trade. Upon arrival of the goods, the Customer is requested to carefully inspect the package before affixing a signature as proof of delivery of the shipment. Mottafashionplace packages are carefully packed. If for any reason, the package appears tampered with or damaged or if the adhesive tape is not intact, the Customer is requested to sign the acknowledgment of receipt with reserve, or to refuse the delivery. In the event that the delivery has been accepted without a signature with reserve, even with clear signs of tampering or damage to the package, no refund or return can be requested if the item is damaged.

SHIPPING COST

Italy:
-free for all orders of at least €200
-5€ for orders under 200€
During particular promotions, shipping costs may vary.

European Union countries: €25.00
Non-EU European countries: €25.00
Rest of the World: €45.00 (shipments to Ukraine and Russia are suspended)

In the case of delivery to non-EU countries, customs fees and taxes are not included in the purchase price and remain the responsibility of the customer, to be paid upon delivery. Possible customs stops could extend delivery times.

Shipping costs are calculated on the basis of packages with volumetric weight up to 10 kg. If the package is heavier, price increases may apply.


RETURNS FROM ITALY

The customer can request the return of the purchased item within 14 days of receiving the order, by sending an email to shop@mottafashionplace.com and indicating the no. of order and the items to be returned. You will receive an email with the return procedure.

The customer can use his own express courier for the return shipment, providing the shipment track, or use the mottafashionplace DHL courier (choosing home collection or personal delivery to a DHL centre). In the first case, the refund will be complete, otherwise €10 will be withheld from the refund for the return shipping costs (any cash on delivery costs will not be refunded in any case).

Unauthorized returns or returns sent by courier other than the authorized one will not be accepted. The package must be carefully packed as received, with wrapping paper and adhesive tape, or using the shipping box. Do not apply the vehicle reading directly to the item's original box (e.g. shoe box). Returns received incorrectly packaged, not properly folded, wrinkled or damaged, with damage to the item or the original box, will not be accepted and returned to the sender, with relative expenses.

The return to Mottafashionplace must take place within 7 days of the return authorization. After this period, returns will no longer be accepted and the product will be returned to the sender with relative shipping costs.

The returned item must be provided with the special plasticized security seal with which it was delivered. In the absence of this seal, or in the case of returns with a cut seal, the return will not be accepted, but will be sent back to the buyer with a charge for the shipping costs


REFUND OF THE RETURN

The refund will be made within 14 working days from the time of receipt of the return and after checking the item itself, with the same payment method used for the purchase.

In the case of cash on delivery or bank transfer orders, the refund will be made exclusively by bank transfer, to a current account indicated by the customer.

Any cash on delivery charges will not be reimbursed.

In the case of refunds relating to orders from non-EU countries, shipping costs and customs duties will not be refunded and remain the responsibility of the customer.


CHANGE SIZE FROM ITALY

The customer can request a size change for the purchased item within 14 days of receiving the order, by sending an email to shop@mottafashionplace.com, indicating the no. of order and the requested news. The actual availability of the requested size and the procedure for changing the news will be communicated. The first news change is free (only for Italy). For any further changes to the news or returns, the management costs will be fully borne by the customer.



RETURNS AND SIZE EXCHANGES FROM ABROAD

The shipping costs of the return and size change of orders from countries outside Italy are charged to the customer, who can use his own express courier or rely on a courier indicated by us.

Shipping costs incurred for the purchase will not be refunded for orders from countries outside Italy.

Returns from outside the EU: the customs fees relating to the return are the sole responsibility of the Customer and will be withheld from the refund. Possible customs stops could extend the return handling times.

The return to Mottafashionplace must take place within 14 days of the return authorization. After this period, returns will no longer be accepted and the product will be returned to the sender with relative shipping costs.


GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS and SIZE EXCHANGES

The returned item must be provided with the special plasticized security seal with which it was delivered. In the absence of this seal, or in the case of returns with a cut seal, the return will not be accepted, but will be sent back to the buyer with a charge for the shipping costs. The returned item must not have been worn (only for testing), washed or altered and must not show any signs of use. The soles of the footwear must be in perfect condition and show no signs of any kind. Each garment must be returned including all original labels, packaging and accessories. (dustbag, hangers, garment covers, tags, etc.) received with the order. All footwear and accessories must be returned in their original box, which is considered to all intents and purposes an integral part of the product itself and which must not have been damaged and/or altered in any way, nor used as the only external packaging. Swimwear and underwear (bikinis, briefs, boxers, etc.) must be tried on over your own underwear. Returns of such items will be refused and returned to the Customer if the transparent hygiene protection label has been removed, or if the items show signs of use.

In the event that the Customer receives defective goods, or that errors occur in shipments by Mottafashionplace, he is required to send an email to shop@mottafashionplace.com as soon as possible, indicating no. order, defect found and any photo of the item. Mottafashionplace reserves the right to request photographic evidence before authorizing returns for defective goods and to bear the shipping costs for returning the goods to its premises. Mottafashionplace will not accept the returned goods if the return does not comply with all the terms and conditions set out in the return policy. In these cases the goods will be returned to the sender at the original shipping address, with shipping costs to be paid by the recipient.

In the event of a defective item, the Consumer Code establishes that consumers are entitled to a two-year guarantee on the products purchased (legal guarantee). The 24 months are calculated from the moment the goods were delivered.

If the product purchased is defective, the customer has the right to have the defective item replaced or repaired free of charge. Any defect will in any case be established exclusively after evaluation of the company quality service of the product brand. The return and evaluation times by the quality service are independent of mottafashionplace and will be carried out within reasonable terms, related to the nature of the goods and the purpose for which they were purchased.
