Conditions for Shipments and Returns
Shipments are processed within 48 working hours of the order being placed and payment being received. Shipment is made by DHL courier and deliveries are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Estimated delivery time for Italy is 1-3 working days from the time of collection by the courier. Delivery time for foreign countries is approximately 4-5 working days.
Delivery times may be subject to delays during holidays. Extraordinary events, such as health emergencies, and causes beyond Mottafashionplace's control, could also delay delivery. In exceptional cases, delivery may take place on Saturday or Sunday. In any case, delivery will take place within 30 working days from confirmation of payment. We apologise for any delays.
The shipment is delivered to the address specified by the Customer. If the delivery address is a location other than a private home (e.g. office, business, restaurant, company, etc.) the Customer must indicate this by putting “c/o” next to the name, in order to avoid undelivered goods due to unknown addresses.
The Customer is responsible for the shipping address provided to Mottafashionplace, which cannot be changed after the purchase contract has been concluded. Indication of an incorrect address, even if it’s just the house number, or incomplete address (missing house number) causes shipping delays and undelivered packages.
The Customer must ensure that someone is present at the address specified at the time of delivery. In order to ensure there is no wasted trip by the courier or undeliverable packages, we recommend that you provide an alternative shipping address (e.g. workplace, business in the vicinity, etc.)
The customer placing an order undertakes to accept delivery of their package. If for any reason the Customer refuses to accept delivery of the shipment, the costs associated with its return will be deducted from the refund payable to the Customer.
For safety reasons, Mottafashionplace cannot process shipments that are addressed to P.O. boxes.
At the time of shipment, an email confirming the order will be sent automatically by the system. The courier will send an email containing the shipping number to track the product. All orders placed on Mottafashionplace will be accompanied by a delivery document stating the value of the individual items in Euro, as per the laws governing trade. Upon arrival of the goods, the Customer is requested to carefully inspect the package before signing for proof of delivery of the shipment. The Mottafashionplace packages are carefully packaged. If for any reason, the package has been tampered with or if the adhesive tape is not intact, the Customer is requested to sign the receipt with reservation, or to refuse the delivery. In the event that the delivery was accepted with an unauthorised signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, the Customer must immediately notify Mottafashionplace at email@example.com.
Italy: free shipping for orders of at least € 200; € 5 for orders under € 200
During special promotions, shipping costs may change.
European Union countries: € 25.00
non-EU countries: € 25.00
Rest of the World: € 45.00 (it is not possible to ship to Ucraina and Russia)
In case of delivery to non-EU countries, customs charges and taxes are not included in the purchase price and are to be paid by the Customer at the time of delivery. Possible customs detentions may delay the delivery times.
Shipping costs are calculated based on packages with a volumetric weight of up to 10 kg. If the package is heavier, additional charges may apply.
The customer may request the return of the purchased item within 14 days of its receipt. Black Friday- Christmas: returns extended up to 31/12/22
Shipping costs for returns are charged to the customer, who may use its own courier, providing Mottafashionplace with the tracking code.
The customer who wants to make a return must send a specific request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post, indicating the order number and the items they wish to return. The customer will be sent the instructions on how to make the return.
Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. The package must be carefully packed as received, with wrapping paper and adhesive tape, or using the shipping box.
Returns to Mottafashionplace must be made within 14 days of the return authorisation. After this period, returns will no longer be accepted and the product will be returned to the sender with the relative shipping costs.
REFUND FOR RETURNS
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned item and after the item has been checked. The refund will be done using the same payment method for the charge.
Refunds will be made based on the value of the original purchase, therefore any costs for cash on delivery (only for Italy) will not be refunded. Shipping costs to extra-Italy countries will not be refunded in case of returns.
You can request to change the size of the item purchased within 14 days of its receipt, by sending an email to email@example.com, indicating the order number, item and requested size. You will be informed whether the size requested is available and on how to proceed with the exchange. Shipping costs for Italy is free for the first exchange. Any other exchange shall be charged by the customer.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES FROM ABROAD
Shipping costs for returns and exchanges coming from countries outside Italy are always charged to the customer, who may use their own express courier.
GENERAL TERMS FOR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
The returned item must not have been worn (only tried on), washed or altered and must not show any signs of use. The soles of footwear must be in perfect condition and show no signs of any kind. Each item must be returned with all the original labels, packaging and accessories. (dust bags, hangers, garment covers, labels, etc.) received with the order. Shoes and accessories must be returned in their original box, which is considered to all intents and purposes an integral part of the product itself and which must not have been damaged and/or altered in any way, nor used as the only external packaging. Swimwear and undergarments (bikinis, briefs, boxer shorts, etc.) must be tried on over your own underwear. The return of these items will be refused and sent back to the Customer if the transparent hygienic protection label has been removed, or if the garments show signs of use.
In the event that the Customer receives defective goods, or that there are errors in the shipment from Mottafashionplace, the Customer must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible, indicating the order number, defect found and any photos of the item. Mottafashionplace reserves the right to request photographic evidence before authorising returns for defective goods and paying the shipping costs for the return of the goods to its premises. Mottafashionplace will not accept returned goods if they were not returned according to the terms and conditions set out in the return policy. In these cases, the goods will be returned to the sender at the original shipping address, with shipping costs charged to the recipient.
